MIHN — Multiverse Institute of Health & Nutrition
Governance

The MIHN Academic Standards Board.

MASB is the academic authority behind every MIHN program — the body that sets curriculum standards, approves faculty, defines assessment and governs certification integrity across the institute.

Overview

One board, every certification.

As MIHN grows to offer certifications across nutrition, fitness and human performance, MASB is what keeps every program answerable to the same academic standard — so a credential means the same thing regardless of which program it came from.

The Board reviews curriculum before it is taught, approves faculty before they teach, and audits assessment outcomes after certification is granted. It exists independently of any single program, reporting directly to the institute.

Academic Standards

Four pillars every program is built on.

Curriculum Review

Every syllabus is checked against current evidence and practice standards before it reaches a cohort.

Faculty Approval

Instructors are vetted for both academic grounding and applied field experience before appointment.

Assessment Integrity

Examinations and practical assessments follow a documented, auditable rubric across all programs.

Credential Verification

Every certificate issued is logged to a verifiable register accessible through the institute's portal.

Assessment Philosophy

Certification should mean something specific.

MASB treats assessment as the point of the program, not a formality at the end of it. Candidates are evaluated on applied competence — case-based scenarios and practical demonstration, not memorisation alone.

A pass reflects readiness to practise, not just attendance. Where a program includes a practical component, that component is weighted at least as heavily as written assessment, and reviewed by faculty independent of instruction.

A certificate should tell an employer or client exactly what a candidate can do — nothing more, nothing vaguer.

Certification Framework

The same four stages, every program.

01

Foundation Learning

Core coursework in the program's subject area, delivered by MASB-approved faculty.

02

Applied Assessment

Case-based and practical evaluation of the candidate's ability to apply what was taught.

03

Certification

On passing, MIHN issues a certificate and pocket ID card tied to a unique credential record.

04

Public Verification

The credential is logged to the verification register, checkable by anyone at any time.

Board Structure

How the board is organised.

MASB is organised into four functions. Individual board members are announced to enrolled students and named on official institute correspondence.

Academic Chair
Holds final authority on curriculum standards and certification decisions across MIHN.
Program Reviewers
Subject-matter academics who audit each program's syllabus and assessment design.
Industry Advisors
Practising professionals who confirm that certification stays relevant to real practice.
Compliance & Records
Maintains the credential register and oversees the public verification system.
